Salem Police Respond After Three Teens Seriously Injured in Wednesday Night Crash

SALEM, New Hampshire — Chief Joel Dolan reports that the Salem Police Department responded to a serious crash Wednesday night. 

At about 8:23 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 10, Salem Police were dispatched to a report of a single-car crash into a tree in the area of 62 Pond St. Upon arrival, officers located a 2004 Ford Mustang that had crashed into a tree, with three injured individuals trapped inside. 

The Salem Fire Department responded and extricated all three, and two were subsequently transported via medical helicopter to Boston area hospitals with life-threatening injuries. The third was transported via ambulance to a Boston hospital with serious injuries. 

The occupants inside the vehicle ranged in age from 17-19. 

The Salem Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Team (CAR) is actively investigating the crash. The initial investigation indicates that speed appeared to be a factor. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Sgt. Michael McCarthy at 603-893-1911.
